ARPIL, 2020

We all find ourselves in entirely unprecedented times.

It was with a heavy heart that we had to take the necessary action to cancel or transfer holiday bookings. We were so looking forward to welcoming you all!

However, it is absolutely the right thing to do under the current circumstances and we’re fully behind the government’s social distancing measures. Keeping everyone safe has to be the priority for us all.

But what now?

As we’re sure you can all appreciate, the question that none of us can answer is how long this is all likely to go on for. We really hope that we will be able to welcome some guests this summer and into the autumn. We’ve been working hard to get the estate ready for you. And we’re sure that once we’re all able to move freely again, a peaceful break with loved ones in the beautiful Norfolk countryside will be a real tonic!

We have answered some of the most common questions we’re faced with as best we can below. We will review these answers on a regular basis in line with the government updates to ensure the detail is always as accurate as it can be.

Please bear with us – we promise we’re worth the wait!

I have a booking in April/May – can I still come?

The current “lock down” situation we find ourselves in was initially set to last for three weeks. However, we presently have no idea what the situation will be at the end of this period. We certainly don’t expect things to be back to “normal”. Please contact us directly if you would like to discuss your booking and we would be delighted to help you.

Are you taking bookings for new holidays?

At the moment, we are only taking bookings for arrivals after 3 July 2020. We will continue to listen to the government advice – this may be subject to change. You can make a booking for after this date but our normal booking terms and conditions including those on cancellations apply (which include you not being able to travel).

What can I do if I’d like to cancel or postpone my holiday?

For holidays booked from 3rd July 2020 onwards, our booking terms and conditions will apply. For holidays before this date, please contact the estate office directly and we are happy to reach an agreement with you.

You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether you would be covered for cancelling your holiday. We will provide whatever information you need in this regard to support a claim.

Can I speak to anyone about my booking?

Of course! We are still available to speak to you. Please call us on 01485 518 229 or email [email protected] and we will do our very best to help.
